CELEBRITY PORTRAIT
The Bohemian Cafe & Gallery is hosting a NEW art Challenge titled: Celebrity Portrait.
The Challenges will be held bimonthly at the Bohemian and each challenge will feature five local artists and one local celebrity.
All five artists will create a portrait of the featured celebrity and the work of art that most successfully portrays the celebrity will be chosen by the him/her for his/her own personal collection.
The four remaining portraits will be auctioned after the viewing at the Bohemian Cafe & Gallery. The funds raised from the auction will be donated to a charity of the celebrities choice. This is your chance to bid on a one-of-a-kind piece of celebrity art!
LOCAL CELEBRITY - MP Tony Clement
LOCAL ARTISTS - Dayna Barley-Cohrs, Vern Fish, Matt Sitler, Kristin Wright and Tammy Gravina
MP Clements charity of choice - Muskoka Arts & Crafts and Huntsville Arts Society.
The artists, Dayna Barley-Cohrs, Vern Fish, Matt Sitler, Kristin Wright and Tammy Gravina will do some sketching, take photos and ask MP Clement a few questions during a private sitting on August 8th. They will then each retreat to their home studios and complete a portrait over the next month. A grand reveal of the portraits and charity auction will be hosted at the cafe before Thanksgiving.
